Planned Litters
Like a lot of people, I like to plan ahead, this is why I like to list as best as possible my litters for 12-18months ahead.
As best as I can, I have attached my girls who will be mated, although timings may not be exact, and not every mating will result in a pregnancy.
It is important to understand that breeding is not an exact science and mother nature is the ultimate decision maker. The female cycle and the success of the mating are not and never will be set in stone, and all dates and plans are based on the female cycle averages, fertility testing and the colour genetic tests to predict what I expect to be born

Waiting List Process :
-
usually via an initial enquiry email telling me all about yourself, lifestyle, family, home and work situation.
-
I will reply within 48hours and request a zoom chat with you lasting about 30-45mins.
-
Following the Zoom meeting I will email you to recap our conversation along with my payment information to proceed.
-
To reserve a place on my waiting list for a Pet Puppy, a non-refundable £300 deposit is required.
-
Once your puppy litter is born and you can commit to a puppy, then a further amount is requested.
-
The final amount is due just prior to collection.
-
Puppies are chosen at around 5 weeks old in deposit order, there is no early reservation on sex or colour. It is far far more important to have the right temperament puppy, from the most suitable parents.
Payment Process :
Northbound Australian Labradoodles sell our pups for a pet price with no breeding terms permitted. A pet puppy contract will be issued once puppy is chosen, this includes a 12 month spay/neuter agreement.
The price of your Northbound puppy is across four parts:
-
I request a £300 non-refundable deposit to join my waiting list, this is to ensure committed homes only apply.
-
A further deposit of £600 is required to secure a puppy only once the litter is safely born and I know there are enough puppies for each waiting home.
-
The third payment must be received before the puppy is collected for their new home.
-
The fourth balance payment is due only if contract terms are not followed and the pet dog remain intact, un-neutered or un-spayed past 12months old. Vets routinely neuter between 6-12months old as standard.
-
Completing the permanent spay/neuter operation and providing the vet invoice as confirmation prior to 12months old as contracted will void the final fourth balance payment.
-
The microchip held in the Northbound ALD Ltd name will be transferred to the new owner once spay/neuter complete.
(Price is subject to review and change)
Master List Explained :
The master list system was set up after a couple of my girls did not fall pregnant. This meant that homes that could not take a puppy, were then unable to move onto the next girls litter as this was already fully reserved, and this to me seemed very unfair.
Over the years I have noticed that homes are most specific over size and timing than any other areas, and so the list was devised with homes being allocated on individual preference.
During our face to face Teams call we will discuss your home, lifestyle, experience, timings and size preference.
We will look to place you on approximately three litters that meet your needs. This could be the first three litters after September when your retirement is due, it could be three mating's that meet your size preference, or it could be three mating's that will not produce the colour of your last dog.
Everyone is different and I work to make sure you receive the best match possible.
The Master Lists are hugely successful because the benefits to the waiting families are;
-
families can be flexible on their puppy timing in case of illness, house move etc...
-
families can move up the list and 'overtake' other families who may be constrained by timing, holidays already booked or size.
-
families are not stuck with a particular girls mating and subject to the girl falling pregnant and having a large enough litter.
-
families can and do decide to defer to a later litter, which then allows other homes who may only have been on the reservation list for a short period to take a puppy.
Temperament is still the priority and recommendations for litter suitability will be discussed with each home.
Once puppy is born :
A whole host of exciting things happen.
-
You will be emailed a new born litter photo and given key dates for puppy choosing at 5 weeks old in deposit date order, puppy take home date and vaccination dates for your calendar.
-
You will be invited to join my Northbound owners private Facebook group to follow videos and photos of your litter plus you can pull on the support and guidance of all my experienced owners, as well as the mass of advice I provide.
-
You will be emailed a detailed 100 page Northbound Puppy Guide that covers everything from; what to buy, how to take puppy home, how and what to feed and training advice.
-
You will be invited to join my PuppyCam to watch your litter grow.
-
You will have your own WhatsApp litter group.
-
You will receive weekly emails to make sure you are prepared and have 'tasks' to do and research
-
and so much more....
Puppies are terribly hard work.
They require immense dedication, time and the commitment to attend regular training sessions to achieve the dog you dream of.
Well behaved dogs aren’t born perfect (as much as I try!), it takes my early socialisation and key stimulation, and your positive, rewards based training via regular obedience classes or a 1-1 trainer to achieve the dog you want.
Please note, I DO NOT SELL breeding dogs, or allow breeding rights.
My puppies are pet homes only and there is no deviation or negotiation on this.
An Australian Labradoodle can live for up to 15 years and require regular weekly grooming and care.
They are highly intelligent, exceedingly sociable and active dogs.
They are NOT teddy bears or fur babies. They need owners who have common sense, a proactive nature and a love of being outdoors and investing time in training.
